Factors influence to growth ancient civilization

There are different things that influence growth of civilization so in this I’m going to write about some of the factors that affect to growth of ancient civilization.

Economy

Agriculture is one of the most important things for all the humans. Because human cannot survive with out food, Ancient people scavenge to find food but later they hunt animal and eat. Agriculture was developed in the Middle East about 6500 BC. When people settle in a place they find the place where they can get the water easily and the place is in good condition for farming, or fertile places. For agriculture they invent irrigation. That is the easy way they can get water from the river. Other things they use in economy is trade and transport. They made things like pots or crops and sell to other parts of the world. Archeologist found ancient potteries under Mesopotamian ziggurats.

Culture

As we know, all the civilization had their culture. In this way the ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia, Egypt and Indus valley also have their own culture. From this culture we can find information about their lifestyle. For example: Mesopotamian burial show that they burry under their house in their family grave and they kept their children in big jar and taken to the family chapel. Some other people were burred in the common grave yards. By looking the way they build the houses, religious place like Ziggurats we know the life style and how they build those places. First they use clay and mud to build but later they invent cement to build.

Religion

Ancient people also believe the god. Mesopotamian religion is the oldest religion recorded. They are highly polytheistic. If some one was sick, they all prayed to god. Egyptians people also belief religion. They built ziggurats. Ziggurats were the temples that they use as a place for worship. They believe life after death.

Writing and language

Writing is very important form of communication. Writing was invented on Mesopotamian civilization. They first use pictograms to represent objects. Later they developed the idea and use cuneiform. In pictograms they use mainly know 24 vocal sounds. Indus valley civilization also uses the special type of Indus writing. Egyptian civilization use hieroglyphic.

Science and exploration

Science helps us in many different ways in our daily life. So we tried to find new thing ancient civilization also explore different things in science. For example: they invent iron, copper and bronzer. They use sharp stones as tools but later sometime they use metal tools. After that they invent iron and make tool out of iron. They invent wheel for vehicles. Slippers, weight and also density too
Also they are good at glass work. They make glass beads, jars and also they use glass to decorate. They invent different knowledge too for example Mathematics. They used calendar and numerals in 60s, as evidence of that 60min in an hour and 360 degree in circle. Also they use geometry to build up pyramid. An ancient Egyptian were very good at astronomy, they study about the stars and predict about eclipse, solstices. Still today people use their constellations. They were highly advance in medicine. Mummification is good example of this.
By doing this we know there are so many factor influence to grow ancient civilizations. Some of these are their agriculture, culture, religion, and science and technology.

Factors influence to growth ancient civilization

The term civilization has a variety of meanings related to human
society. But one thing is sure; every civilization needs certain factors for its growth. These factors could be Agriculture, literature, Construction, Warfare, Laws, Knowledge ideas and explores Economy and Religion or culture.

For a civilization to exist food is very important. This is one of the major factor and the most powerful factor which influenced the growth of the civilization. All most all the ancient communities rely on agriculture. Why? Food might be the first answer. Looking further, the rivers and its fertility might be the second answer. The ancient people also had the knowledge of dealing with the money and trading. Trading helped them to sell and gain profit of the surplus. The Indus valley civilization economy appears to have depended significantly on their trade.

Don’t we all want our life to be easier and better? Depending on the ideas and knowledge you have, you can make life easier and better. Through the earliest civilization, people have gained much knowledge about various things. This would definitely lead their civilization to grow faster and wider. Looking deeper into this, Mesopotamians had a calendar of seven days and used numerical system based on 60. Indus valley civilization achieved great accuracy in measuring and had knowledge of Medicine and dentistry too. Let’s have a look at the Egyptians. They were also highly advanced in Medical practice. For example, the mummies. Egyptians had knowledge of art and science of engineering too.

We all communicate in various ways. One of these ways is writing. In ancient time, there were verities of writings like the pictograms, cuneiforms and hieroglyphics. From this, pictograms were the first form of writing. But, they all did one major thing for the civilizations by leading them to record the data and events.
If there is no religion, surely there would not be much peace through the communities. Instead, there would be fights. Think deeply… why do we need a set of rules? Why we use them? Because, we all have our own ways of thinking and dealing with matters. The same would have happened with the ancient communities. All the civilizations had religions. Mesopotamian religion is the oldest in record and they all are highly polytheistic.

The ancient civilizers were great constructors. For example pyramids and temples. Pyramids are the biggest structures on Earth today. The other type of buildings constructed in the early civilization is the ziggurats. Ziggurats were huge temples build to worship the gods. They were very high so that at times of flood they would stay dry. This reveals that these buildings saved the lives of the ancient civilization and protected the civilization.

In ancient time the kings or the rulers imposed many laws. As in ancient Egypt, the religion was the Law. They also had a rule imposing a number of different taxes. King Hammurabi also had about 300 strict laws in his time. A civilization must be protected from its enemies. Through the early times, Mesopotamia had many wars amongst each other for land and power.
All the above points tell us that these seven factors are very important for the growth of the ancient communities. Their way of influencing might have been different. But surely they all had effected.
